Pioneer in Ethical Insurance in Nigeria

Jaiz Takaful Insurance Plc was established in December 2013 as a Public Limited Company. It obtained an Islamic Insurance License from the National Insurance Commission in late 2014. The company's authorized share capital is three hundred million naira. In May 2016, it obtained a "no-objection notice" (comfort letter) from the NAICOM and has since fulfilled all regulatory requirements, including the mandatory deposit with the Central Bank. Jaiz Takaful Insurance Plc was granted its operational license on 19 August 2016.
